I am from Malaysia and a fan of AI, hope America wont do the same mistake (cant remember which season, they voted Hicks instead of Dhougtry) ! My prediction :
1. Adam - very talented, unbelievable vocal
2. Allison - young and talented
Danny - America loves and sympathy with his past @ lost. He could stay long !
Kris - America loves his cute and handsome face, but he already have someone ! This could be another factor to lose vote !

Being an Adam fan I am glad to see him in the top 3 but how on this gods green earth did Kris beat Allison. As I am in Western Australia we have not had the result show yet so this has floored me. America what have you done, Allison is far better than Kris ever will be. I’m not saying that I wanted her to win but she should have been in the top 2.
Also I do agree that Adam & Allison should do a Duet together they sounded great.
And did anyone else notice that after thier performance that Paula had said “you 2 should do a duet on Your album” (to Adam) mmmmmmm

How the hell can we vote off Allison, this amazing kid with unbelievable vocals. If you go back and watch the videos, Allison blew away the competition, except for Adam of course. All her performances were Amazing!!! She kicked ass when she sang the Heart song from the very beginning!!! I guess we have another Jennifer Hudson on our hands!!!!!! I know America has not seen the last of Allison, much to talented to let slip by……

I watched the show but really felt something was missing, and then I remembered it was Matt. lol Didn’t vote cause at this point I really don’t care who wins, but was surprised it was Allison who left tonight. Kris is so, so, but I think Allson did out sing him last night. Kris’s performances are a little boring to me, no great voice, swagger and charisma like Matt G. I totally think Kris gets his votes from those teeny-boppers in the front. Also Leann can wait to see Matty on tour and miss him alot too !!

Allison should have been in the bottom two, after last nights duet with Adam, the final two were clear… and it would have been an amazing final two! Adam is clearly lightyears ahead of Danny and Kris.
I thought Kris should have gone home since the top 9. This show is based on looks and the majority of voters are silly girls… I think they judges wasted the save, should have saved it for Allison today.
The only thing that comforts me is that it clearly doesn’t matter who wins if the winner has no talent after American Idol is over. Where are all the other past seasons winners? I know the only one who truly has proved a deserved win is Carrie Underwood. She will be around the top ten charts ten years from now. Can we say that about any of the other winners?

Adam is the best in the entire competition, if he wins, he’ll do great. True, Allison was one of the better contestants, but you can’t say the winner this year won’t have any talent after Idol just because that’s the typical pattern with past contestants.

Kris deserves to be in the Final 3. He is a talented singer and musician, not at all boring. I hope he lands a record deal as soon as the AI is over because I’m going to buy his CD. His voice is soothing, makes me want to listen to him over and over. I think Adam is going to win ‘though, he’s a total performer.

Yeah Danny didn’t have the best night last night sadly, but his voice prior to that, has always been supurb.
It was Adam’s genre last night so he was expected to do well. Rock suits his voice to a tee so he can scream til his tonsils go ahead and jump out by themselves.
Allison and Kris are clearly talented but kinda meh in my opinion, so I’m not sorry Allison’s out.
It really should come down to Adam and Danny in the end…that’s if all the teeny-bopper kiddies out there don’t vote with their hormones for cute-as-a-button Kris. I think Adam will take it but I LIKE Danny better. His voice is smooth (last night being the one exception) and sexy as hell, whereas Adam’s, while very very good, is consistently kinda shrill.

I am sorry for Allison.I reckoned Adam and Allison would be the best two. Adam, because he is a Super Star with such a great talent, Allison because she will probably have a future ahead as a singer when she gets a little bit older (just like David A).
Kris is cute, but I have to admit that none of his performances have really moved me.
Danny is a guy who sings sometimes quite well, sometimes not so well..but has nothing to add to the music world. A bad copy of David Cook.

I can’t believe that Kris is still on the show. Danny is a great singer and so is Adam. True Danny had a off night but so does everyone. Remember Adam was in the bottom three during the Jazz week! Adam is a great singer I hate his clothes but he has awesome pipes. Danny sings with passion something that most of the 13 lacked! Kris is a good singer but not as great of a singer as Allison.

I think the voting should somehow be regulated so that only one call or text message per phone number can be counted. That will show the true number of individual persons who are voting, and will keep a few people from voting a zillion-million times for the same singer. As it is now, ten people each voting once doesn’t count as much as one person voting 50 times. It just doesn’t seem right to me.

Dannys “screech” was unintentional, off-key and not in-tune.A mistake. It was a disaster. Adam’s falsetto may not be to your liking, but it is intentional, in-tune, proprely pitched and not off-key. Danny was not able to replicate Adam’s falsetto.
When Danny fans start criticizing Adam for his so-called “screech” I think maybe they should recall the “screech heard ’round the world” on May 5, 2009–a day of infamy.

Well Wendy, if you are two weeks behind you may not have had the ‘pleasure’ of hearing Danny’s rendition of “Dream On”. Just a warning: wear ear plugs, use the rest room before he goes on and have a cocktail beforehand (one that includes a large volume of alcohol).
How Danny survived this week is perplexing to many of us. I attribute it to either the sympathy vote or his well-earned support from “Vote for the Worst”.

I think you understand my grand parents said about Adam brings them back to the age where they were young and they were crazy Elvis fans. No one said Adam is Elvis, or…it just waste your time to argue with them. But nowadays who can let them feel that passion of music again? so great! and that’s how they love Adam. Adam wants to win the Idol for his fans, not himself. I’m so appreciated Adam makes them happy and for the first time we can talk about music with our grands and see the smile on their faces. It worth a million to me.

AI is on tonight here (Friday) and the elimination show tomorrow which is when we will see Matt go. Yes, he has a great voice otherwise he wouldn’t have made the final 13 but some of the others are better.

I thought Matt was an awesome pianist and seemed like a very likeable guy. I didn’t think his vocals were on par with the others in the top 10 and I think it was his time to go. I don’t think he was adding much at the point he left.
I still can’t believe Danny is still here after that screechy performance. If he rebounds this week he might be in the final. OH NO! Please don’t subject America to this!

I agree. Danny is only there on the sympathy vote so hopefully American will wake up next week. Unfortunately we can’t vote here but they have been running a competition each week to go in the draw for two people to fly over for the final - fingers crossed. I was looking forward to a Matt/Allison final but that is not to be so hopefully you guys get it right next week.

I missed the week where Danny told his so called sob story, so I don’t know what everyones talking about with the whole sympathy vote thing. I like Danny because of his sexy voice, even though he is dorky looking. And it’s not his fault he gets kareoke sounding songs. The contestants don’t do the arrangements. Also, I’m not Christian, and I’m from Oregon not the south. Danny appeals to a lot of different people.

People who like Adam shouldn’t talk about Danny’s last note. There was one week where Adam totally killed a last note and it wasn’t the week he was in the bottom three. I’m just saying….

Yeah at least danny tries different things. He mixes his vocals well. You can sit and listen TO DANNY SING FOR 2 HOURS BUT YOU CANT HEAR ADAM SCREAM FOR MORE THAN 2 SECS!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m not sure, but I think it was the last note of Mad World that was very flat. Anyone know? The only live version I can find on youtube was cut off before the last note. Sorry if my use of the word “note” has offended anyone as I am only an instrumental musician of ten years and not a singer.

The American Idol website has all of the performaces there so take a listen.
I’ve played piano as a child for 14 years and have a pretty good ear (And 6 years of music theory helped!). Adam is pretty pitch-perfect and I’d be surpised if what you say is accurate. I have not detected a flat end note, but I’ll give Mad World another listen again later.
As a side note, Mad Wrold is Itunes most downloaded song from any AI season includding this one. So, I guess if it ended flat, it matters very little. Adam is about as good as you are going to find, musically speaking, on American Idol. While folks may strongly prefer another contestant, I am speaking of pure musicality.

Adam’s pitches are almost always spot on. I was just saying that even Adam has had a bad night, and I never thought he should go home because of one note alone.

The one where he got an unprecedented standing ovation form Simon and the one that apparently gave you a laugh. #1 on Itunes downloads for AI–guess a lot of people thought it was darn-tootin’ good! There is not one off note in his live arrangement whatsoever as I also listened to it again.

Anonny, let me help you out.
When you get to americanidol.com, there will be a blue bar towards the top of your screen. hover over of the word, “contestants”, and a little screen should pop up with a picture of adam, danny, and kris. click on adam and it will take you to his page. scroll a little bit down the page and you should see “whole lotta love” and beside that “watch this performance”. hover over the the name “whole lotta love” and all the song names should pop up. Click on “Mad World” and then “watch this performance” and you’re there! Good luck, hope this helps.

They all remember danny’s dream on. Although the transition of his falsetto was not that good, at least he accepted the challenge and sing the song given for that week. How about Adam during the country music week -he sang the ring of fire; out of the genre; Simon Cowell commented “weird” & Kara “confused”. Everybody will strike Danny on his “screeching” other than none. DANNY or KRIS …cast your votes.

Taurus Judas, I’m with you. Danny and Kris are my favorites and everyone has a bad week or two. They’re all gifted people. It’s hard to say who really is the best because we all look at things from a different vantage point. I can see good things in all of them.

YES, we all remember Danny’s Dream On, wish I could forget! It has been penned on many blogs and sites as the worst top 10 performance in Idol history. It proves he doesn’t have the range required for a sucessful artist. He has a good husky voice, can’t take that away from him, but he lacks in versatility. I believe now that Kris is much better than him. Adam is in a league of his own and will undoubtedly win, God willing. However, I will also cast votes for Kris since Danny should no longer be there. He will do fine in his church in Milwakee and will, undoubtedly, be a popular entertainer in the greater Wisconsin area! Good luck Danny!

Judas, I do not want to fight again but i must disagree. Ring Of Fire is one of my favorite songs. Adam proved his originality and showed his range in that song. As you already know i’m a huge Glambert, so what do you expect? Sorry the other entry got deleted, along with our posts.
TS, I agree with you, but I’m not sold on the splitting votes idea. You never know who will be safe and who won’t be.

I’m from Canada and a huge fan of Adam. My boyfriend who hates AI only watches this year because of Adam. I’m laughing when people say that Adam is not singing but screaming/yelling. Well, at least when he does I don’t get an headache like I had when Danny attempted to showcase a vocal range he just don’t have. Adam is everything an entertainer should be: skilled, original, versatile, dynamic, talented and… different. If I want to go see someone who will entertain me… I will definitely go see Adam, not Danny or Chris who will both put me to sleep after the 1st 30 mins. I will definitely buy his album. All the other Idols this year, except for Allison, are all “deja vue or deja heard”. I really hope that Allison and Adam will do a duet eventually.
What I admire most about Adam is his ability to show us all the possibilities when singing a song. Each time I anticipate his performance to see and hear what he’s gonna come up with. I have enjoyed each of his performances, especially Ring of Fire and Born to be wild…..The other significant thing about Adam is…. he’s a natural, it’s not forced or fake. He has been the most consistant within who he really his.
Bottom line, Adam is already a big winner even if he is not crowned AI. His star will shine brighter and longer than all the Kris, Danny and Matt put together.
One last thought. If Danny loses, I think he should become the next Bachelor. He’s single and girls love him. I think he would bring the rating up after Jason’s disaster. After all, all these TV shows are all about the rating.
Adam….remember, you have lots of fan in Canada. Come visit us!

Danny is going to win it all! He is not pathetic and the fact is “He can sing!” Adam will have a record deal and also Aliison. Adam is so scary he is great! I wonder if he is gay? I hate his sense of style but love his voice! How old is Adam? Danny has been through a ruff time and he will be blessed for overcoming this obstacle in his life. I don’t believe he should win it because of this tragic loss of his wife but instead it should be based on his ability to sing, which he does well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree Danny is good but Adam should win!! I think Danny will already have a deal for some gospel album or something. Adam is totally original and amazing!! He’s so talented and in a completely different league than all the rest.
Adam is 27 (since january), and i am pretty sure he’s bi, but nobody really cares anyway. Ha Ha.

He would be a great gospel artist!! Adam is a great singer and he is truly in a league of his own! I don’t care if he is bi, straight, or gay! He is a great singer. I am more into the R&B side of things and I believe that Danny can sing anything! I would buy his CD as well as Adam but it is up to America and I hope that the one bad week Danny had would not stop him from becoming the next AI!

Oh, yes, Danny and Adam are so different which is why it’s cool you like them both!! I love both their voices. I think Danny could make a great soulful gospel CD and Adam could make a great funk rock CD. :] I hope it’s them in the finale!!!

Well Matt has gone here now and I look forward to the final 3 this weekend. While you are all right in that we all look for different things and in your case, vote for your favourites but Danny is just another singer and doesn’t offer anything different where Adam is unique. American vote, vote, vote for the BEST SINGER not personality. We’ve just had a Dancing with the Stars here and the “personality” won rather than the best “dancer”.
