Tonight on American Idol 2009, the elimination results for this season’s Top 7 will be revealed…
So far the American Idol Top 7 Prediction Poll shows that 59% of you believe Lil Rounds should be sent home with the next closest being Matt Giraud at 18%. Rounds was in last week’s bottom 3. Will she do it again this week? I would say, definitely.
Will the “Judges’ Save” be used tonight? Who will go?! We’ll soon know.

Wow. I kinda thought they would and sure enough, Simon announced they would use the coveted Judges’ Save this week. Vote on if the judges should have used the save or let Matt go.
This means next week we’ll have a double elimination with the American Idol results! Craziness!

It’s bollocks that not all the judges give their feedback on performance night. Why don’t they just make the show 1.5 hrs and let every judge have their say after each contestant???

Sorry, Fiona…i’m not agree with you. Week by week I saw Matt didn’t sing very well. My prediction for next week elimination should bw Lil and Matt. Coz I think Anoop would give his best ( a lot!)

no way…. matt will not be eliminated…. he’s not deserving to be eliminated… cause he sings very well… the song that he chose yesterday to sing is not that good… he should have chosen the i don’t want to miss a thing song…. it’s really appropriate for his vocals…. i think next time he should choose songs that will be excellent for him… so he will be safe from bottom 3….

I cried when simon saved Matt.Yeah i did agree with the judges.Matt is trully artistry just like Kris,Adam,Danny n Alisson.Anoop is good but only for ballad songs n no uniqness.And lil’?Come on why all of you keep her so far?She’s no jeniffer hudson or fantasia.I’m tired to see her.Sorry lil.

Does anyone know where you could watch the show of last night results? Would really like to see it again. I missed all the excitement.
It’s hard to believe it wasen’t Lil. Maybe it was a scam for a better ratings show. I hope so, cause I really LOVE Matt’s performances. But that would suck to put someone through that especially Matt. Down to earth kind of guy who really appreciates his time on Idol. Go all the way to the finals buddy. Voting for you!

I think I would have saved the save for the nitty gritty. Matt’s good and I am SHOCKED that he was last and not Lil. She should have been last and I’m willing to bet they wouldn’t have save her! Anoop I like but his attitude/stress level is showing all over his face. He seemed disgusted to be on the bottom three. I’m sure it’s hard but he’s gonna have to get a thinker layer of skin to make it in that business!

When they chose to save Matt, they assumed the double elimnation next week would come from the trio Anoop, Matt , and Lil. But the truth is that if one of the good contestants (Allison or Danny) have a so-so night, they may say goodbye next week.
Personally, I think it will be Anoop and Lil. Especially if Anoop tries to sing Disco!

I think Lil should go!! Matt should stay. Anoop is too self absorbed and pompus. He was probably raised to believe a woman’s opinion is worthless. Anoops face says it all…he is disgusted and shocked whenever he receives a negative opinion from a female judge smiles at whatever “Simon says”. Please refresh me on the judges credential to be in such a position as to critique someone’s God given talent!

That’s funny D, I have yet to see Matt eat the mic. lol As far as Adam he’s ok but his performances are either he’s stands there like a statue or he’s all over the place. He should stick with broadway. Some really freak me out, the other night I actually turned the channel till he was done. Come on people keep voting Matt as I do always always ! Well deserved save Matty.

The judges made the right choice. The voters also made the right choices. Next week is tough for me because there will be 2 eliminations. Hate to see Anoop go and I would hate to see Matt go. But I believe the bottom three will be the same. What other choice is there? We’re going to lose one of them along with Lil.

Lil should had been eliminated, not Matt and i think that if Lil’s had been eliminated instead of Matt, I bet that 3 of 4 Judges will not use the safe on her cause she’s not the good singer after all and Allison is the only female singer in the competition, not her! I really hope that Lil and Anoop will go home next week especially Lil as she’s becoming just like how Megan Joy was in the competiton and please please, vote more and more on Matt G but less and less on Lil Rounds and Anoop

Adam,Allison, and LiL are the only original singers in this competition. Each one of them have their own style, and that is what makes an artist.

Thank God Matt didnt leave. I would have cryed. He is so talented and doesnt deserve to go. The judges no he has a talent, and is a great singer, thats why they gave him a nother shot, cause they no he’ll so great!!

So HAPPY Matt’s still there. Well deserved save! He has such a raspy & soulfull voice. Love all his performances. He even cried which show he loves his time on idol, unlike Lil and Anoop who always look digusted. Time to go guys. Come on voters, double time voting for Matt G. all the way !!!! Haven’t seen his girlfriend in the audience lately??
