I haven’t watched a lick of this season yet, but this should have absolutely no impact on his standing in the competition. If he’s good enough to win, then he should! And why are we asking if it will affect the rest of his season? This is supposed to be the 21st century people!

I want to know what jerk would post not one, not two…but three pictures of Adam? What is the POINT? Who cares what his sexual preference is and what he does? Little kids are BIG IDOL FANS and browse the American Idol sites throughout the season. Why would anyone risk having 8,9,10 & 11 year old children looking at this? Just leave the kid alone and let him do his job and compete in this competition on his own raw talent. Who ever you are, just worry about what’s in YOUR OWN CLOSET.

i think that they will either make him leave american idol or nobody will be voting for him after these pictures. but you never know because there is another gay guy on american idol but he doesn’t have pictures like this on the internett. Are you serious? I am a straight woman, and some of my men friends are gay. I have to tell you, they are the most sincere, gentle souls I’ve ever met. I wouldn’t trade their friendship for some phony straight person, just because they are “straight”. Lindsay, you need to check your spelling…it’s terrible. Joyce, what era are you living in? He is a very good singer but saying if he looses because he is gay is just sore grapes. He will probably go pretty far. He has some good vocals and range. He did pretty much out himself as at least bisexual when he sang the Cher song. But big deal. Its fitting since mostRock and Roll lead singers are at least bisexual or bi-curious. Why assume heteros are the majority. They have a plurality at best, but not by much. You go Adam. I admit, Im rooting for someone else this season but i appreciate Adam’s power and competitive ability rather than being some status symbol teeny boopers will like.

You all are very humerous….the ones against Adam, as well as the ones for Adam are all judgemental idiots. Little kids sticking by their Christian Roots, yet judging him (Lyndsay & Joyce)…adults slamming these kids (just about everyone) and cursing (Lady Anne)…by the way what a fitting name for a saliors mouth.
Then other’s talking about its the 21st century….that is the funniest part. What does that have to do with anything. I get SO tired of people in this country talking about why it is OK to lose moral fiber and values because it is 10 years, 20 years, 100 years or 2000 years more recent. If we all continue on that trend, it will be OK to have sex with animals publically by 2025. Is that OK if its my choice? Or maybe it will be ok to steal, rape, or murder 100 years from now because the century will change…will that be ok too? OF COURSE NOT!!!
With all that said, I DO NOT CONDONE homosexuality. No ONE of ANY religious faith would. Its against the three major religious sectures - Judism, Christianity & Islam. SO, IF you belong to ANY of these religions or CLAIM belief in any of these religions…THEN, you are ALL HYPOCRITES! However, if you do not believe in the big three, and/or you are Agnostic, Athiest, or worship chinese “cacaroaches”, you either are hypocrites (WORST SIN THERE IS) or non believers.
Can the guy/girl/chinese cacaroach sing? Man can he sing! And should have a record deal with a major 1970s-1980s rock band…he is an exact replica of Steve Perry from Journey (so nothing original about him). Should he be made an “American Idol”….do you “WANT” your son, nephew, husband, fiancee, or whatever to be LIKE him and idolize him because he has a Steve Perry voice? NO!!!
The people our children should be looking up to are PEOPLE who have good moral value and good character….and there are several of those on this show! AGAIN, this is American Idol not MTV’s Making The Band or Bad Girls.

As a Christian myself, the religion doesnt proote hate. None of the major religions. The fatc that you atatck peopel you are going against your religion. Jesus taught peopel to love one another. Guess you were one of the pharisees Jesus spoke against. Felt they were so superior but couldnt even recognize the son of God right in front of them. Im more worried about your kids not learning God’s love. thats the cornerstone of faith. And you dotn know what these peopel do in their lives. heres what i dont understand..
i dont necessarily agree with everything BUT
the show is “American Idol” its supposed to be judged based off talent.
he has the best voice and is the best performer. Thats what actually matters and how people should vote. not by his sexual orientation.

The fact that Adam is gay has no effect on his singing voice at all - he should win because he’s the most talented. Most of my male friends are out and proud gay men, and are some of the strongest and sweetest men I know, I wouldn’t trade them for the world. It’s 2009, gay men and women shouldn’t have to hide who they are just because some people are too close minded to get their minds round it. I don’t believe in God, but do I walk around trashing Christians? No, I don’t, because I respect the views of other people and their right to have those views, even if I don’t agree. Great Singer i love his voice especially the high notes. Im a gale for the rock and screamo stuff not everybody can do it. Well not everybody can make it sound good like Aerosmith or Metallica. Adam sure has something! But God made Adam and Eve NOT Adam and Steve come on man GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!! I agree whoever posted those pics on this site is sick and has no respect.I can not belive it.I am a christian and will be the first to admit that I believe in opposite sex marriage and relationships but that does not give me the right to judge or ridicule, or hate those who are gay and the golden rule says love thy neighbor. It does not say love your neighbor but hate your gay neighbor.So though some of you like me may not condone gay relationships that does not give us the right to persecute and show hate towards gay people.
Gay or not he is still GODS child and if we would stop all this judgement and hate of gay people and be their friends despite our differences the world would be a better place.It is people like this that
make these kind of comments and post pics to make some one who is different look bad that promote the hate crimes that are part of this world.If the pics were of a idol guy doing the same thing with a girl or an idol girl with another guy most of you wouldnt question the pics though if you think about it guy and girl or 2 guys what they are doing is still not fit for this website.Also how many of the people who are making these judgements are perfect and have never done anything sexually immorral?Not many I bet if you consider what the bible says which is that adultry and sex before marriage and pornography ect….. is all immoral. Next regarding the pics they do not even prove that it is Adam in those pics and anyone could have fabricated this with todays technology.If you look really close I question if this is really Adam at all and there are features that do not dicpict Adam in those pics.
Also even if he is gay soemthing about him tells me that he would not go for the type of guy like the one in the pics.I may be wrong but I think people need to really stop and think about the type of person who would post some thing like this anyways and their motives to go to such extremes and what other extremes they may go to as well? Just something to consider before you make any more judgements.I ask you all one favor that you evaluate the pictures more closely cause it is terrible enough to judge someone so cruely regardless,but to judge them and make all these terrible comments about the person and then find out these pics are not even Adam would be even more terrible and a disgrace.Dont forget with the internet people can do just about anything. I was just browsing the web and happened to run across this site. I cannot believe that some of these people on here are so closed minded. I know Adam personally. You people coming on here and bashing the life out of the guy hurt his chances. American Idol is already over, and I was disappointed the night of the finale, but I am even more so now after reading all of this trash people have posted. People who watch AI should be watching for talent, and judging by talent. Let me tell all of you something- Adam exudes talent!! It takes a mature, level headed, and strong person to pursue you’re dreams and not let ANYTHING stand in the way of that. Adam graciously excepts defeat, and remains true to who he is despite the slander that comes from people who have no clue. I’m proud of Adam!!! I think he is a great example if you want your kids to look up to someone who never backs down on their dreams…even in the face of adversity. Shame on all of you who judge him without knowing him. It sickens me!! I’m done
