American Idol 2009 Top 13 - First Round Performances Tonight
March 10th, 2009 American Idol, Performances, Season 8,Tonight on American Idol 2009, the Top 13, that’s right 13 and not Top 12, will be performing in the first round of the finalists competition. All the singers will have to make a pick from Michael Jackson’s songs which should make for a pretty fun night. The two-hour episode starts at 8PM on FOX.

You need to tell the new judge to stop trying to be such a hardass, it just doesn’t come across good at all, it was better with the three, and your occasional guest judge. Like the saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it

First, the show needs new judges. It seems “karaoke” has become the focus of the show. If Simon says a performer is lousy, then the rest of the judges follow suit. Anoop put on a good perfomance of Beat It, but Paula, a washed up singer, says only MJ can do it? Give me a brake!
Secondly, why are the Idol contestants all selecting Michael Jackson/Jackson 5 songs? Is it because the US now has a black President? Get with it people, start looking to other artists. What about Elton John, Buddy Holly, Mariah Carey, Bono or Avril Lavigne?

Whats wrong with all of you, not one person explained to Scott , that if you never served in the military and earned those ribbons YOU DON”T wear them. very offensive to those who Did earn them and especially so to those who died to earn them.(gold star family)

Danny and Adam are the best singers on American Idol. They have awesome, unique voices.
singing Michael Jackson songs was tough, but they did a great job!
