American Idol 2009 Top 12 - Third Batch Perform Tonight
March 3rd, 2009 American Idol, Performances, Season 8,Tonight on American Idol the final 12 of the 2009’s Top 36 will be performing for your votes. After last week’s round of performances I’m hoping for a little bit more out of this bunch. Who is your favorite this week? Let’s start hearing some predictions below in the comments.
Once the performances are over tonight the results show will be held on Wednesday and then the “Wild Card” episode will air on Thursday night. Looks like the “Wild Cards” will be decided only by the judges. That means we’ll have our full Top 12 for Idol 2009 by the end of the week.

Please and we hope that the judges will not pick or vote Tatyana (? last name)from the 1st batch as one of the wild cards. She is too annoyingggggg!!!!

i think that comment that josephine left i think thats mean cause if you dont want to have her be the next american idol then just keep it to yourself please cuz it might hurt her and other peple and dont say shes annoyinggggggg! thanks Cassie Hill

The last female that sang was awesome!! I tried to call and vote, but wasnt able to get thru! The one Simon said was BRILLIANT!! I agree!!!

I was unable to vote for contestant #12 due to a problem with the telephone # given for her. This is very unfair - how are these votes going to be accounted for?

This last round was the best by far, and It will be really hard to see many of them go. I hope the wild card goes to scott, or my homeboy for PR. I must say he was awesome. Of course the last contestant? (can’t rememember her name) has been one of my fav’s from the start. I wish she would have picked a diff song because I’m not a real fan of Mary J.

Did anyone notice this? When they show the recap of each performance…Alex’s mic stand does not fall over, though it did during his song and Nate has his nose ring in, but it was not present during the live song. What is this all about??

The recap at the end of the performances is the recap from their rehearsal earlier in that day before they actually go on live.
Was I the only one that thought Lil was awful??

Ring of Fire “redone” was hands down the absolute remake of the night. Many contestants did a great job but i really hope to see this talented young man stay for the duration. That rendition took guts, thought and a true sense of self to pull off and he did so on all levels!! CONGRATS, that very sensual, dark version will likely be playing in a future vamp movie hands down. wicked wicked job!!
