American Idol 2009 Top 11 Elimination Results Show Tonight
March 18th, 2009 American Idol, Results, Season 8,Tonight on American Idol, the 2009 Top 11 elimination results will be revealed, leaving us with Idol’s Top 10 for this season. It was a tough night for some on yesterday’s performance show, but unlike last week only one contestant will be eliminated tonight. Who will it be?

I think it is time to send Adam packing. He was sooo creepy with his song and he is so predictable. I told my husband exactly what he would sound like and his facial expressions and man was I right!! He sounds the same every week just loud screeching, googly eyes at the camera and open mouth with wagging tongue! I think Paula has a crush on him and no matter how BAD he sounds she will say he was great (too bad she isn’t as astute as Simon)and tell it like it was, that he was TERRIBLE.

I also think it’s time to send Adam home. All of his yelling and screaming is just too much. I think an American Idol should be someone who can adopt to sing different genres. Yes, he may be staying true to himself, but enough is enough. All of the rubbing on himself and obnoxious screaming is so over the top and theatrical. I say send Adam on his way!!!

Adam was a joke last night. I am not a big country fan, however, Adam was Totally Disrespectful last night to The Country Stars!!!! Time for Adam TO GO HOME!!!!!!!

WHAT THE HECK was ADAM THINKING. Worst performance this season. Not only did he disrespect country but he was nasty to randy travis what a jerk.

Such an original version of an old, very dated song. I liked Adam’s look, his style and his ability to really sing !!
I thought Adam was great and wonderful..loved his unique version of Ring of Fire. I’d buy it in a heart beat..More Adam, MORE Adam !

Adam took a chance and made that song his own. He is certainly one of the more polished performers and has the tools to be successful regardless of whether or not he wins on Idol.
The blind kid is a completely generic, cut out, play it safe, boring performer and has no chance of winning. Send him home.

Adam did take a chance. Good for him!!! He is not a country singer, period. He made the song his own. Nasty to Mr. Travis, give me a break. Why should Adam pretend to be something he’s not. I am thinking we should be more concerned with Paula’s performance.

All of the finalists this year are phenomenal, possibly the most talented group of any season previous. However, Adam Lambert is sheer genius and in a league of his own. He is beautifully seasoned and knows how to bring raw emotion and passion to the notes he sings. I believe he will win the entire competition and entertain us for years to come. Rock on, Adam! We are behind you all the way!!

Scott is truly a performer and he does his own arrangements while everyone else is dyeing their hair and painting their fingernails!! Please vote for Scott! He is soooo talented and far from generic.

What a disappointment. Alexis absolutely deserves to be on that tour. Country night was not strong for anyone, but she has shown that she has a strong voice and stage presence. For her to go before Anoop, Scott or Michael is ridiculous. Too many tween girls voting for their fave cute guy. The judges should have stepped in on this one. A loss.

I hope this is just a dream. If not, my family will abandon AI. We have watched this show since my daughter was four and I have never seen such an appauling outcome!
Bring her back!!! Or is she just too good for the show.

Alexis should not have been sent home. Bring her back to make this American Idol a competition. The talent is very thin this season.

What was Adam thinking ??? You should never change the ENTIRE arrangement of a song to suit yourself !!! He disrespected one of the great artist of our time, Mr.Johnny Cash…. I think Mr. Cash turned over in his grave and asked the Ghost riders to find this guy and hurt him for trashing his song. Long live Johnny !!! Adam go home :o(

Alexis deserved a spot on the Summer tour…. Adam should be performing on the streets of the Vieux Carre during Mardi Gras and guiding tourist on the Marie Laveaux Cemetary tour…. Too Creepy for an American Idol…. Kiss and Ozzy Ozborne have already been done…..Copy Cat!!!!

No , No, NO! Adam is a very talented and creative musician. Johnny Cash would’ve loved his variation of , ‘Ring of Fire’. Cash in his career recorded with more different types of musicians and artists and enjoyed it when his songs were recorded by other artists and doing duets with different type of artists.
We think Adam is terrific, original, surprising and EXTREMELY talented. He is a showman through and through. .
We love Chris, too !
We’re hoping Chris will have an incredible music career…. But, Adam is an IDOL!Will buy Adam and Chris records. Danny’s ,too. He is really good, too..and humble and seems to be really nice.
Come to think of it , we really like all of the kids except for Meagan Joy. We haven’t liked not one single performance of hers.

Did some one say Mardi Gras ? We’d be thrilled to have someone with the top level caliber of entertainment that Adam has, come to New Orleans.
It’s too bad the writer of the above comment has to insult all of us here to get his point across. Perhaps, we’ll just have a little gris’gris put on him. One important thing, New orleans people know good music and good food. Perhaps, this is why we endure big winds and high waters because we love our culture. Sooo, Adam is different , ain’t that the purpose ..to find someone new and different. I THINK SOOOOOO.
America likes Adam so does our family. My husband is a music teacher and we are amazed at his abilities. …

I am very dissapointed in Lil she’s just not picking the right songs. The girl can truly blow, but her choice of songs is what is going to ge booted of the show

You are correct. Allison and Danny do rock. They should make it to the -TOP- 2 or 3! They are very talented singers/preformers. No one can top them. They are who they are and some people dont appriciate that. But who cares what they think.
