American Idol 2009 Auditions Continue January 27, 28, & 29
January 25th, 2009 American Idol, Season 8,Last week American Idol 2009 Season 8 took us through San Fransisco and Louisville in search of the next Idol. That leaves us with just one last week of auditions and the remaining cities: East Rutherford, NJ, Jacksonville, FL, Salt Lake City, UT, and San Juan, PR.
Who has been your favorite singer so far? With the shortened audition portion of the new season we’ll be getting to the finalists even sooner. This year we’ll see the Top 36 finalists on February 11th. The Top 12 won’t be revealed until March 5th.

Don’t know…they spend so much time on the morons, we don’t know who many of the “goin’ to hollywoods” are!

Luckily, producers cut 1 week of auditions out of the season this year and made it a week of real performances instead. I think after 7 previous seasons I’ve seen enough of the disasters to last me awhile.

I think Anne Boskovich will make it to the top 12. I think she has beautiful voice and a good personality. I wish her the best.

It’s too many judges and not enough auditions.
Too over the top with antics of judges.

By the way. I do not like the new judge. I dont think any of the other judges do either. She tries way too hard to fit in and I can tell Paula doesn’t like her either. Get rid of her!

It’s to early in the Competition. Wait until next Tuesday and I will try figure it out. But, I agree with Amanda I really don’t care for the new Judge. She is not like Paula and Randy and Simon. She acts Fake and she puts on air. But, I know one thing I think that David Osmond will probably be one of the Top 12. He really had a Great Voice Plus, he comes from a Musical Family.

The auditions are always fun to watch, but there is one thing I noticed the last couple of shows - the back ground picture of all the winners and the AI logo. Every winners picture was on there except Fantasia’s, and to top it off there is some other female that looks like Beyonce. What’s up with that???? Did anyone else notice that????
