What is worng with the American public? How could Carly Smithson be voted of American Idol when she not only has the best voice, but has taken the criticism of the judges and worked on all the areas they requested. Her vocal range is truly amazing and she does not gasp for air like many of the others. She has always been professional, which is more than I can say for 3 of the hopefuls now in the running.
Carly is what American Idol is about. She gave from her heart and soul. She cared more about others than herself. At the time when she should have been in the top 3 she was let go. That makes no sense at all. Never did she start and stop such as Brook White did on 2 separate occasions, nor did she ever have a flippant attitude such as Jason has ever since he started. Last week was a true let down as Simon was correct when he said American Idol had become a popularity contest. It is so disheatening that a true and precious jewel was let go, because someone else may have been more physically attractive!!!!!

how culd you vote AS’SIA out thats so unfair she has a sweet voice and please when voting vote properly don’t remove people who are ment to stay e.g AS’SIA so please vote responsibly (but how could you vote her out!!!!) N.B THIS IS A COMPLENT
